Wow! What an incredible year for us here at C&C Cutting Edge! 2016 was a very busy and gratifying year. With 27 projects booked by spring, we knew it was going to be a benchmark year and were excited to get to work taking on our clients projects. I’ll be posting some photos over the next few days to showcase the wide variety of projects we undertook, as well as adding a new service page to our website. It was an amazing year being able to showcase our new architectural design services and 3D designs using  powerful Chief Architect X9 software.  The client feedback has been fantastic, and the progression from design to completion has been flawless. Sticking true to our roots as highly skilled carpenters, we are very proud to showcase some of our renovations, designs, built in cabinet products and structures. I would like to thank my entire team and valued customers for a successful year and I’m looking forward to see what 2017 produces.

Tips To Renovate Your Bathroom On A Budget

There are plenty of ways that you can renovate your bathroom on a budget. Reviving your bathroom and giving it the facelift it needs doesn’t have to be a costly project if you know how to add style in the right places. Here are a few tips to renovate your bathroom on a budget and inject some life into your space.

Tiling

Update your tiling to revamp your bathroom quickly. If your existing tiles look old and weary, installing new tiles is a brilliant way to add some shine to your space and give it a new look. Try experimenting with new designs, but remember if you’re only tiling a section of your bathroom (such as the wall, or the floor), you must make sure the style fits the rest of the room.

Walls

A fresh lick of paint is a great way to renovate your bathroom on a budget. Paint can easily tire over time, so a fresh coating will give it the lease of life it needs. Try a contrasting colour if you want something bold, or opt for white if you’re going for a neutral feel.

Storage

There are plenty of solutions available that can revamp your space plus increase the amount that you can store in your bathroom. There are a number of bathroom storage options out there, such as stackable draws, hanging caddies or even just simple shelves to store your extra towels and candles.

Grout

Mouldy and black grout around your shower and tub can easily make your bathroom look old and dirty. Fresh grouting can make the world of difference in renovating your bathroom and freshening up your space.

Buy Used

If you want to buy a new toilet, bathtub or shower but don’t want to fork out a lot of cash, why not consider buying used? It may not sound like the obvious option, but actually, you can buy a ton of home necessities online that have barely been touched. Look on sites such as eBay and Craigslist and see what you can find.

Update Fixtures

Fixtures can transform your space and the great thing is that they only require a small investment. Update your light fixtures, faucets, tower racks and drawer pulls to revamp your bathroom at little cost.

There are a number of easy ways to renovate your bathroom on a budget – you just need to open your mind and get creative! While replacing your key features can be costly, focusing on

the details can really make a huge difference in updating your space. If you’re replacing fixtures such as heated towel rails and sinks, make sure that you seek a qualified professional to ensure the job is completed properly so that you don’t experience any plumbing difficulties in the long run.
